Have you thought of bluffing the bluffer? well the trick is (that's if you can afford it at the time)to watch for receding bets from a potential bluffer from the flop to the turn. He/she may open with a raise and commit themselves to the round. Granted the player could hold top end cards that player may open with a large bet on the flop even if the cards flopped are small, there futile attempt to scare you off your hand! The

pattern becomes apparent on the turn when the bluffer drops the bet(their way to protect their money.) This is where you pounce, with say four cards down done of which are paint(J-Q-K-A) and you pounce hard. This shows the bluffer that you truly represent and that you are confident to win the round.I do this quite often and it is the corner stone in my play. This style of 'bluffing the bluffer' is in fact my most successful method of bluffing and earns me a lot of bulk wins in online poker. Hope this helps,

Good general advice for the most part, but...

I think it is important to note that if you are truly up against better players, the best strategy is to find another table. You want to be the shark, not the minnow.

I have never played the no limit holdem. Usually I play omaha poker
but after reading this blog the idea struck to mind that I should change it and play no limit holdem. Even the tips provided in this blog leads me to win. Thanks Great Post

I think that you very well sum up differences between playing in the two "environments".

One difference I have noticed is that online players often stick to their ABC poker for a number of reasons;
- multi tabling, and does mostly not have any read on any players.
- Watching TV, surfing or chatting on messenger at the same time.
- Not necessary to shift plays because people at the table changes very often online.
