Patrik Antonius takes a hit - Scott “URnotINdanger2? Palmer wins $240K
December doesn’t seem to be the best month for Patrik Antonius. Antonius has lost about $266K in the past day, and most of it has gone to Scott “URnotINdanger2″ Palmer’s pocket.

Scott “URnotINdanger2″ Palmer
Antonius and Palmer played $500/$1000 NLHE heads up and Palmer managed to win 240,000 dollars from Antonius. He is now a bit over 900,000 dollars up for the year. Antonius is still about a million up.
Palmer calls Patrik’s all-in on the river and wins a $292K pot
Antonius is really not having the best month as he is down about $500K already.
Are the games going to continue?

Urindanger Puts on $300k Clinic
It took the older Dang brother only 91 hands to ship his six-figure paycheck. The majority of his winnings came from cadillac1944 in heads-up $500/$1,000 PLO.
Dang, who sometimes receives criticism for tight play and nitty table selection, has developed a reputation for consistency and this year is no exception. He’s currently up $1.4 million in 2010.
Dang has yet to record a losing year on Full Tilt.
Meanwhile cadillac1944 has been an absolute maniac this week winning over $800k from Tom Dwan, then losing close to a million the next day then winning a small amount the day after that.
As it stands now cadillac1944 is down $1.1 million and will need a big push to get even by the end of the year.
The second big session of the night included Patrik Antonius and Scott “URnotINdanger2” Palmer going at it in $500/$1,000 No-Limit Hold’em.
Antonius has been hot lately but it was URnotINdanger2 got the best of him in the session winning just over $280k.
Other big winners of the night included LokoisBack with $163k, skjervoy with $124k and Gus Hansen with $95k.
In the losing column were Phil Ivey (-$112k), harrington25 (-$103k) and Ingenious89 (-$52k).

Patrik Antonius doesn’t know how to play 2-7 Triple Draw!
Fun things can happen while playing poker. Patrik Antonius kind of made a fool out of himself today on Full Tilt Poker when he showed everyone how bad he is in 2-7 Triple Draw.

David Oppenheim won a $19,000 pot with a A-5-4-3-2 hand (Antonius held 2-2-5-4-3) and Antonius was amazed to see himself losing the pot: “did you see what happened?”
Oppenheim answered straight away, “you think i had a straight, hahahhahahhahahahhaha, you are a very bad player.”
Dealer: David Oppenheim wins the pot ($18,747) with A,5,4,3,2
…
Patrik Antonius: ??????????????????
Patrik Antonius: Oppey
Patrik Antonius: did you see what happened?
David Oppenheim: yeah
David Oppenheim: no
David Oppenheim: lol
Patrik Antonius: you won with the straight
David Oppenheim: you think i had a straight
David Oppenheim: hahahhahahhahahahhaha
Patrik Antonius: wow
David Oppenheim: you are a very bad player
Patrik Antonius: this is how good i am
David Oppenheim: you should play smaller limits
David Oppenheim: too high for you if you think thats a straight
Antonius should visit Full Tilt’s 2-7 Triple Draw page where he can learn the rules. A is always a high card.
And Oppenheim should remember one wise rule: never teach the fish at the table. Take their money and congratulate them when they draw out on you with bad hands.
Patrik’s games haven’t gone that well in the past day and he has lost about 400,000 dollars (which doesn’t include the big 2-7 Triple Draw games).

IHateJuice Beats Ivey, Antonius for $255k
The still unidentified online player took on Full Tilt icons Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius at heads-up $2,000/$4,000 Limit Hold’em last night and came out on top in both matches.
IHateJuice played 381 hands against Antonius and raked $142k from the Finn and then added 117 hands against Ivey where he won $111k.
After beating Ivey IHateJuice really got the railbirds buzzing with this statement in the chatbox:
“IHateJuice: btw... can u do me a favor and ask FTP for 3k6k tables?” “Phil Ivey: u wanna break me faster?”
IHateJuice went on to say that he thought Antonius wanted to play higher, upon which Ivey mentioned he’d like to see them play $5k/$10k. The pair eventually logged off without settling anything but there's a chance there will be some higher states Limit tables on Full Tilt in the next few days.
Other big winners from last night included Arbianight who took down $183k, DrugsOrMe who picked up $139k and recent upstart ronnyr37617 who won $75k.
Meanwhile Antonius was technically the biggest loser going $229k into the red.
cadillac1944, who had that massive win against Tom Dwan two nights ago, donated $203k back to the online tables.
Dan “jungleman12” Cates, who seems to have cooled off a bit recently, also lost $118k.
Finally Gus Hansen couldn’t get anything going last night and lost a relatively minor – by his standards – $70k.

November’s big guns: Patrik Antonius & Scott Palmer
And here we are now, November turned to December and it’s time to take a brief look to the last month’s winners and losers on Full Tilt Poker. Patrik Antonius was again the one who others need to avoid. Antonius won a bit over $1,2 million.

When Antonius made some good profit, so did few other playes as well. Scott “URnotINdanger2″ Palmer made a cool million dollars, Di “Urindanger” Dang made $780K and “rumprammer” won $550K.
And when there’s winners, there has to be losers. Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies lost 1,4 million dollars and Tom “durrrr” Dwan lost a million.
Keep in mind that there was no tracking records from the big Limit 2-7 Triple Draw and PL HA games. There was some good action over at those tables as well and the results would look a bit different if we would have data from them.

November Recap: The Fall of Ziigmund
Sahamies, who has been ice cold over the last couple months on Full Tilt, even admitted on his blog he’s likely in the biggest downswing of his career.
It’s been hard times for the aggressive Finn who hasn’t recorded a losing year online since 2007. His losses in 2010 now total $1.9 million.
Sahamies essentially stuck to Pot-Limit Omaha in November but that didn’t seem to help as everyone from Gus Hansen to Dan “jungleman12” Cates took a piece of Ziigmund.
During the middle of the month Sahamies even went over a week without recording a single winning day.
As Sahamies trended down, fellow Finn Patrik Antonius skyrocketed to the top. The Team Full Tilt pro dominated November and won a total of $1.2 million over 7,579 hands.
It helped that Antonius has been playing a series of $2,000/$4,000 Limit Hold’em games against IHateJuice and utterly destroying him.
Antonius now sits on $1.7 million on the year and looks to finish 2010 with yet another winning year.
Since Antonius started playing under his current handle on Full Tilt Poker he has never recorded a losing year.
Right behind Antonius was Di “Urindanger” Dang, who despite some cold runs during the month, managed to win some huge sessions near the end and finish up $894k. He’s now on $1.3 million for the year.
Close behind Dang, perhaps fittingly, was Scott “URnotINdanger2” Palmer. Palmer, whose Full Tilt alias is a play on Dang’s online name, took down a $628k this month.
Some of the other big winners this month included rumprammer (+$512k), DrugsOrMe (+$504k), skjervoy ($434k) and Dan “jungleman12” Cates ($405k).
Even Gus Hansen finished up $369k this month, which was a vast improvement to previous months where he had lost over a million. Hansen will still have clear about $1.2 million if he wants to get even this year.
Ziigmund was easily the biggest loser in November but cadillac1944 (-$824k) and Erik “DIN_FRU” Sagstrom (-$585k) also had forgettable months. Even David Benefield, who has been rock solid this year, lost $508k in the month of November.

Patrik Antonius is popular on Full Tilt Poker high stakes tables
Patrik Antonius doesn’t need to practice any kind of table selection as he has become very popular on the Full Tilt’s high stakes tables. Last night both “IHateJuice” and Daniel “jungleman12″ Cates were after Antonius’ “head”.

The German player “IHateJuice” wanted to continue their $2K/$4K Limit Hold’Em match, but the Finn wasn’t that excited about it. In fact Patrik tried to suggest that they could mix the games a bit by playing Limit Hold’Em and 2-7 Triple Draw.
This wasn’t good enough for “IHateJuice” and he seemed to be a bit upset as Patrik has won about a million from the German from Limit Hold’Em:
IHateJuice: patrik, time to play!
Patrik Antonius: juice
Patrik Antonius: two tables
Patrik Antonius: one 2-7 and one limit holdem?
harrington25: juice
harrington25: is pat up a lot on you?
harrington25: you should never call out pat
harrington25: pat plays all games well
jungleman12: patrik are you going to play ihatejuice?
Patrik Antonius: wow this is getting sick
Patrik Antonius: i feel the most confortable here…
IHateJuice: ur up a million and ask for 2-7
IHateJuice: anyway, i was just letting u know ill be around one more hour or so
harrington25: phil plo?
Patrik Antonius: ok juice but looks like i will play jungleman12 first
Patrik Antonius: gotta work on my nl
IHateJuice: ill go to bed then i guess
IHateJuice: got university early tomorrow
Patrik Antonius: no game juice now sry to turn you down
IHateJuice: kk
IHateJuice: do u have msn or anything
IHateJuice: its silly for me to stay up that late just for the chance that we play
IHateJuice: id like to know beforehand
IHateJuice: if ur around or so
Patrik Antonius: i will find you if you are waiting on the tables
But in the end Antonius didn’t play against either of them, if we believe the HighstakesDB’s live tracking. There was still some action last night as “rumprammer” won about $215K and David Benefield ended up losing again, a bit over $230K.

durrrr Challenge 2: We Have Action
The pair made up for lost time by logging 2,120 hands of $200/$400 No-Limit Hold’em on Saturday.
Although jungleman12 jumped to an early lead going up just over $200k, Dwan would storm back and eventually peaked being up $91k.
Despite both players’ efforts, neither would finish the session with a significant win. Dwan won a paltry $13,000 which means he is now down $646k after 9,783 hands.
Neither player mentioned when the challenge will resume but railbirds are hoping they won’t have to wait nearly two months again.
Although the durrrr Challenge 2 proved to be anticlimactic, there was still some intense action on Full Tilt this weekend.
Di “Urindanger” Dang, who’s been lukewarm lately, made up for lost time by absolutely destroying his competition to take down $655k over the last few days.
Meanwhile David Benefield had one of the worst days of his career losing $608k on Saturday. Benefield lost $368k to Patrik Antonius in $500/$1,000 Cap PLO and the rest in a series of $200/$400 Six-Max games.
IHateJuice (+$354k), Arbianight ($277k) and DrugsOrMe ($231k) were all amongst the biggest winners this weekend while davin77 (-$274k) and GooGie MonA (-$174k) recorded some terrible sessions.
Ziigmund couldn’t stay away from the tables and added -$170k to his well-publicized losses this year.

David Benefield takes a huge hit - Loses over $600K
David “Raptor” Benefield must have had the worst day of his life. He lost over $600K on the Full Tilt Poker high stakes tables last night.

Most of Benefield’s money was grabbed by Patrik Antonius at a $500/$1000 PLO deep heads-up table. That made Antonius the biggest winner of the day, with almost $386K profit.
Antonius wins with his full house, about $317K pot
Antonius won quite nicely from $1500/$3000 2-7 Triple Draw as well. There was some wild action at the Draw tables and David Oppenheim was seen toleave a table with a bit over $400,000 stack.
Antonius is now almost 1,8 million dollars up this year and even though Benefield lost yesterday he is still over $1,5 million up for the year.
It’s always interesting to see how the results change in the last months of the year, and what makes it even more interesting, HighstakesDB will soon add the big Draw games to their result tracking service.

Di “Urindanger” Dang wins over $500K - Ziigmund ends up losing again
It was just few days ago when we wrote how Sahamies was able to cut his downswing. Yesterday he won $160,000 from the FTOPS Winner “davin77″. Well, that didn’t last long as Ziigmund tried to win some of his losses back from Di “Urindanger” Dang and Andreas “Skjervoy” Torbergsen and ended up losing again.

Norwegian “Skjervoy” won over $100K and Di Dang over $250K from Sahamies. Ziigmund had lost over 170,000 dollars in the end of his session.
Di “Urindanger” Dang’s game has been really good lately. He has won about $532,000 in the last 24 hours. He is about a million up this year.
Also “IHateJuice” has made some good profit as he won 350,000 dollars during last night. He played against Patrik Antonius and was able to win back a bit of his losses to Antonius.

DrugsOrMe Derails Gus Hansen
Hansen, who has won over $2 million since mid-October, played 377 hands of $500/$1,000 Cap PLO against DrugsOrMe and couldn’t get anything going.
DrugsOrMe dragged several pots that were worth nearly $100k each and that was enough to overwhelm the Great Dane.
By the time the session finally concluded, Hansen had dumped $299k to DrugsOrMe.
After dipping under the $1 million loss mark for the first time in months earlier this week, Hansen is once again looking at another mountain to climb being down $1.4 million this year.
Meanwhile DrugsOrMe, who wasn’t active on Full Tilt until this year, has earned a total of $1.3 million in 2010.
There was plenty of action on FTP last night as recent upstart bemyguestbud continued his strong play by winning $258k. IHateJuice finally found a way to win against Patrik Antonius and took down $122k.
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies finally posted a winning session last night. The aggressive Finn only won $67k but that’s a marked improvement from his recent losses.
In the loss column Hansen was king with his -$299k but Antonius (-$122k), luckexpress10 (-$105k), skjervoy (-$91k) and Sauce1234 (-$67k) also had bad nights.
David Benefield also played a huge heads-up session of $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em against IReadYrSoul that eventually saw him lose $58k.

Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies and “IHateJuice” grind some profit
Ilari “Ziigmund” Sahamies made a comeback to Full Tilt after a small break from poker. He also managed to grind up about $70,000 which is nice after his huge downswing.

“Ziigmund” has a huge grind ahead if he wants to get even this year. According to HighstakesDB, he is still down about $1,8 million.
Most of “Ziigmund’s” profit came from $100/$200 PLO and $200/$400 Cap PLO. Ilari was also seen at some $25/$50 PLO tables to get some momentum before moving to bigger tables. There’s no tracking data from those games.
Other winners from last night were “DrugsOrMe” ($300K), “bemyguestbud” ($258K) and “IHateJuice” ($122K). “IHateJuice” played against Patrik Antonius and was finally able to get some of his losses back.
Only Gus Hansen made bigger losses than Antonius last night. Gus recorded over $250K losses.

“IHateJuice” is staked to $2K/$4K Limit Hold’Em - Lost $113K to Antonius again
Patrik Antonius and the German gambler “IHateJuice” finished up their latest heads-up match on Full Tilt Poker just a moment ago. They had a lenghty session again as they played 1719 hands and they ended the session as Antonius felt tired.

Antonius won quite nicely ($113K) and he dominated the whole session. “IHateJuice” has lost almost 900,000 dollars this month already, which makes him the biggest loser on Full Tilt Poker.
Now “IHateJuice” unveils some facts about himself on 2+2 forums. “IHateJuice”, or “hasu” on 2+2, writes that he hasn’t been playing fully on his own money at the $2K/$4K Limit HE games, as some other German Limit players has been staking him (some excerpts below):
- They only do this at the $2K/$4K tables and they have never colluded there
- After a winning or losing session they use Full Tilt player transfer to even outthe score
- They only buy action on each other on Full Tilt because otherwise they could only play $1K/$2K
Looks like “IHateJuice” wrote about this already few months ago. He wanted to make sure that there’s no cheating, nor colluding among the German players.
There’s some rumors that the other players “playing” with “IHatejuice” are “deprimiert” and “O Fortuna PLS”.

Antonius Crushes IHateJuice Again
For the second time this week Patrik Antonius took rival IHateJuice to school and destroyed him for $113k.
The game was once again $2,000/$4,000 Limit Hold’em and pair put in 1,719 hands over the span of a few hours.
It wasn’t as one-sided as the match earlier this week but Antonius winning $181k on one table was enough to guarantee a successful session for the Finn.
It remains to be seen why IHateJuice continues to play Antonius. IHateJuice, who is rumored to be a German Limit specialist, has lost nearly $1 million to the Team Full Tilt Pro.
Perhaps the only good news for IHateJuice was that Antonius wasn’t the biggest winner of the evening. That honor went to upstart bemyguestbud who dominated the high stakes PLO games for $306k.
Zugwat (+$105k), jungleman12 (+$99k) and theASHMAN103 (+$85k) all had successful nights as well.
Marcelo “luckexpress10” Marigliano was the biggest loser last night, mostly thanks to a heads-up $200/$400 session against bemyguestbud, and dropped a total of $304k.
Arbianight was right behind Marigliano with $196k in losses while IReadYRSoul apparently forgot how to read last night and lost $171k.
Finally IHateJuice rounded out the top four biggest losers of the night with his $113k loss to Patrik Antonius.

“IHateJuice” swings with Patrik Antonius - From $600K to $70K
Patrik Antonius and the German player “IHateJuice” have been playing some wild $2K/$4K Limit Hold’em heads-up sessions on Full Tilt Poker lately.

And just like yesterday there was two $2K/$4K Limit Hold’Em heads-up tables open earlier today. This time Antonius and “IHateJuice” played almost 1500 hands and “IHateJuice” managed to win from this session.
He won almost 73,000 dollars, although he was up $600,000 during the session, so the outcome probably didn’t satisfy the German. Antonius made a nice comeback in the end.
“IHateJuice” has lost the most this month. He has lost almost $770K in Limit Hold’Em. On the other hand Antonius has made nice profit from Limit Hold’Em, a bit over 850,000 dollars.

Poker After Dark Season 7 Premieres January 3rd
Poker PROductions announced this week that its popular poker television program “Poker After Dark” has concluded the taping of its seventh season. Filmed at the Aria Resort and Casino at CityCenter in Las Vegas, the season premiere will air the week of January 3rd on NBC.
Season 7 will tie for the second longest season in the show’s history, spanning 13 weeks. The fifth season, filmed in 2009, was the longest at 16 weeks, or 96 episodes. The upcoming season will build on the popularity of cash games, all but phasing out the original six-handed sit and go competitions upon which “Poker After Dark” was built.
That said, the first week of the new season will feature a $100,000 buy-in sit and go dubbed “Big Heat.” Competing for the winner-take-all prize pool will be popular high-stakes action seekers Tom “durrrr” Dwan, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond, John Juanda, Erick Lindgren, Phil Ivey, and Huck Seed.
The other two sit and gos will feature the traditional $20,000 buy-in and a richer $50,000 buy-in. The $20,000 version will be called “Wish List,” with amateur Mike Dappen taking on Mike Matusow, Phil Hellmuth, Jennifer Harman, Erica Schoenberg, and Chris Ferguson. Dappen won the opportunity to play for the $300,000 first prize by winning the Howard and Suzie Lederer Charity Poker Tournament, which raised money for the Boys and Girls Clubs.
The $50,000 tournament, named “Idol,” will see Doyle Brunson go up against five young pros: Eric “basebaldy” Baldwin, Annette “Annette_15” Obrestad, Andrew “LuckyChewy” Lichtenberger, Melanie “Callisto 5″ Weisner, and Dwan.
The rest of the competitions will be cash games, each of which will span two weeks. Two will have a minimum buy-in of $100,000. The first of these will include Brandon Adams, Matusow, Ferguson, Michael “The Grinder” Mizrachi, Jean-Robert Bellande, Peter Jetten, and Hellmuth. Hellmuth will return for the second $100,000 cash game, along with Antonio Esfandiari, Obrestad, Andy Bloch, Seed, and Justin “Boosted J” Smith.
A $150,000 buy-in cash game will see Eli Elezra, David “Viffer” Peat, Phil Laak, Greg “FBT” Mueller, Olivier Busquet, and Lederer all try to take each other’s money, while Ivey, Dwan, Patrik Antonius, Peat, Elezra, and David Oppenheim will sit down for another cash game with at least $200,000 at stake per person.
While all of the above cash games will be No Limit Hold’em, there will be one $100,000 cash game that will feature Pot Limit Omaha as the game of choice. Sitting down at this table will be Ivey, Galfond, Adams, Antonius, Dwan, Brian Hastings, and Jared “harrington25″ Bleznick.
With 10 of the 13 weeks consisting of cash games, Season 7 will be far and away the most cash game heavy of all of the “Poker After Dark” cycles. It was not until Season 4 in 2008 that cash games were part of the lineup. The show was exclusively six-handed sit and gos for its first three seasons, serving as a complement to GSN’s “High Stakes Poker,” another Poker PROductions program that consisted of only cash games.
In Season 4, which was only seven weeks long, the first and seventh weeks were cash games, while the third was a special four-player “Heads-Up Challenge.” Of the 16 weeks of Season 5, seven were cash games. Six more weeks were cash games in the 13-week Season 6.
Poker PROductions also revealed this week that it has extended its deal with NBC Universal to produce “Poker After Dark” through 2014. Aria will continue to serve as the host casino for the show’s filming through at least 2013.
Antonius Works IHateJuice for $504k
Antonius and IHateJuice have been playing a series of $2,000/$4,000 Limit Hold’em matches for months now but the Finn seems to have developed a distinct advantage.
Last night the pair played 1,257 hands with Antonius raking several huge pots.
IHateJuice attempted to make a comeback near the end of their match but could only close the gap by about $50k.
When the session finally came to an end, IHateJuice asked Antonius several times to keep playing but the Finn finally called it quits after winning $504k.
It’s getting easy to criticize IHateJuice for having poor game selection as he’s played Antonius numerous times at $2k/$4k Limit with very little success.
This year alone, Antonius has raked more than $800k from IHateJuice.
With the victory the Finnish Team Full Tilt moved up to $1.7 million earned in 2010. Not his biggest year ever but still enough to make him the eighth biggest winner this year.
Gus Hansen also played well last night earning a total of $115k.
The Danish pro continues his relentless march to get even for the year and while he still finds himself $1.2 million in the hole, it’s a marked improvement from a month ago when he was down $3.6 million.
IHateJuice was by far the biggest loser last night dropping $515k. He had company, however, as luckexpress10 lost $382k and the recently active bemyguestbud dropped $109k.
Here are several hands from the Antonius and IHateJuice match. For more information check our online poker stats section.

Patrik Antonius won $500K from “IHateJuice”
Full Tilt Poker has action as Patrik Antonius keeps on winning. The Finn has won over $500,000 in the last 24 hours.

Most of Patrik’s winnings came from the German player “IHateJuice” with whom he has been playing a lot $2K/$4K Limit Hold’em lately.
The games are not over between these two as they have already agreed to have another session:
Patrik Antonius: gg
IHateJuice: cmon
Patrik Antonius: be back in couple hours
IHateJuice: play a lilttle longer.
Patrik Antonius: if u wanna play more
Patrik Antonius: gotta go now too hungry
IHateJuice: -.-
Antonius is now over 1,5 million dollars up for the year which is really good as he began the year with over 3 million dollar losses.
“IHateJuice” is about $500k down for the year, so he must be really hungry to play against Antonius to get some of his losses back.

Another Winning Weekend for Hansen
Hansen once again booked a few marathon sessions on Full Tilt Poker this weekend and by the time the dust had settled, he was up a total of $280k.
The Great Dane played Pot-Limit Omaha at varying stakes throughout the weekend and took on some extremely tough competition in harrington25, luckexpress10, DrugsOrMe and Ashton “ASHMAN103” Griffin.
He managed to rake several huge $80,000+ pots against DrugsOrMe and luckexpress10, which definitely did not hurt his cause.
Hansen is now down $1.1 million this year and for the first time since July has a shot at slipping below the $1 million loss mark.
Fellow Team Full Tilt pro Patrik Antonius also logged a successful weekend taking over $100k from IHateJuice in Limit Hold’em and around $80k from Dan “jungleman12” Cates in $300/$600 HA.
IHateJuice, harrington25, Erik “DIN_FRU” Sagstrom all lost considerable stacks of cash this weekend.
Finally the epic live cash games in Macau seem to finally be subsiding (check our blog later today for more information) so Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan may once again hit the virtual tables over the next couple weeks.
Here’s a look at a few big hands between Hansen and ASHMAN this weekend. For more information check our online stats section.

CardRunners instructor Brian Hastings announced on his blog late last week that he will be making his first televised poker appearance on NBC’s “Poker After Dark.” Hastings said that he will join fellow Full Tilt Red Pros Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan as well as high-stakes regular Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond in a $300/$600 Pot Limit Omaha game with a minimum buy-in of $100,000. Hastings wrote the blog while en route to Las Vegas for the taping of the show.
“The reason I am flying to Vegas is that I am going to be on ‘Poker After Dark,’” an elated Hastings wrote. “This will be my first televised poker appearance and I am very excited. Lana (CardRunners Marketing Director) worked very hard to get me on the show and called me Friday afternoon to let me know about it. It totally caught me off-guard, especially since I have a big assignment due Tuesday for my architecture class, but I quickly decided that I was in, got an extension on the assignment, and now here I am flying cross-country.”
Patrik Antonius, Sam Farha, Brandon Adams, and Jared “harrington25″ Bleznick could also be playing in the game according to Hastings, making for what should be an exciting week of televised poker. Hastings, just 22, hasn’t yet made a name for himself on the live circuit, but the Cornell University student is renowned for winning the most money in a single day in online poker history. In December of last year, Hastings stepped up to the plate to face Swedish phenom “Isildur1” at the $500/$1,000 Pot Limit Omaha heads-up tables on Full Tilt Poker. Five hours later, Hastings had taken around $4 million from the Swede and gained instant fame within the poker community.
Now, Hastings gets his shot at another big game, this time a six-max format under the bright lights of “Poker After Dark.” “We will be taping tomorrow (Monday) and although unfortunately I will not be able to disclose results before the show airs, I will fill you in with the details that I can provide when I know them,” Hastings said. “I do know that the episodes will air sometime in 2011, although I’m not sure when yet.”
This will mark the first set of episodes in the history of the show that offer a game other than No Limit Hold’em. Pot Limit Omaha has increased in popularity online in recent years, much of that due to the intense action at the nosebleed stakes among players like Hastings, Dwan, Galfond, Bleznick, Daniel “jungleman12” Cates, and the rest of the high-limit players on Full Tilt Poker. All of the aforementioned pros are among the biggest Pot Limit Omaha winners on the site since the results started being tracked by HighStakesDB.
Season 7 of “Poker After Dark” is being filmed at Aria after spending the first six seasons at the South Point Casino and the Golden Nugget. Season 6 began airing in January and featured poker pros like Howard Lederer, Phil Hellmuth, Mike Matusow, Annette Obrestad, Antonio Esfandiari, Annie Duke, Eli Elezra, Erick Lindgren, Antonius, David “Viffer” Peat, Chris Ferguson, Jennifer Harman, and Dwan. The show airs nightly at 2:05am ET.
Brian Hastings plays in Poker After Dark on next season
Brian Hastings is a familiar name in nosebleed games. He crushed “Isildur1″ and has been making steady wins throughout the years he has been playing on Full Tilt. Now he updated his blog where he speaks about filming Poker After Dark. It’s his first TV performance and he seems to be really excited.

Hastings reveals that the PAD game will be $300/$600 Pot-Limit Omaha with antes and minimum buy-in will be $100k. Other players on the table will be Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Phil “OMGClayAiken” Galfond. And it looks like that Patrik Antonius, Sammy Farha and Brandon Adams will be visiting the table as well.
It is the first time that we’ll see Omaha cash game played on PAD. New episodes will be aired “at some time next year”, and we’re really eager to see them.

Urindanger Drops $519k in One Week
Urindanger, whose brother is Hac “Trex313” Dang, played a total of 3,419 hands over the week.
Urindanger played his usual mix of $200/$400 Six-Max PLO and $500/$1,000 Heads-PLO but by Friday had lost a total of $519k in seven days.
A large portion of the losses came against Gus Hansen, who Urindanger is used to victimizing.
Formerly up nearly $1 million on the year, Urindanger is now down to $425k profit. It’s the lowest he’s been in over 10 months.
Urindanger was easily the biggest loser of the week but another usually consistent grinder was right behind him in losses this week.
Jared “harrrington25” Bleznick played 4,265 and went $328k into the red. Bleznick is still up close to $2 million this year.
At the opposite end of the spectrum was unidentified online player DrugsOrMe who smashed his way to $562k in profit. DrugsOrMe played a great deal of $500/$1,000 Heads-Up PLO and managed to vanquish his competition in almost every session.
Gus Hansen also continued his strong play of the last few weeks and battled his way to a $287k victory over an impressive 10,483 hands. He’s still down $2.1 million but that’s a far cry from the $3.6 million he was down at the start of October.
Fellow Team Full Tilt Pro Patrik Antonius also had a good week as he picked up $247k while Dan “jungleman12” Cates, who is still learning PLO, picked up $211k in the game.
Some of the biggest losers this week beyond Urindanger and harrington25 included Vaga_Lion who lost $230k, NEKOTYAN who dropped $177k and tibster24 down a total of $164k.
